Opening Titles

Seven Days trailer

The interesting feature with this trailer is the use of the split screens with the various characters, this could be a good reference when considering our treatments 'visual' idea's. Perhaps we could use this effect while showing the 3 boyfriends, and the woman.

Dexter

Dexter uses a great montage sequence to introduce the main character through the credits, we've already discussed in previous meetings about the idea of introducing the 'woman' through snapshot images and close ups of herself and the setting, this is a good example to refer to.

True Blood

This is more abstract opening, it uses different historical shots and various images to create a sense of the theme and setting of the show, while not having obvious images of the what its about, such as vampires. This would be an interesting technique to use in our film, introducing our story through representations, instead of characters.

B.o.B - Nothin' On You [feat. Bruno Mars]

This is a continuation of the seven days concept, with the changing faces of characters.

Sia - Breathe Me

Our idea of using pictures for a title sequence, this idea could be interesting for introducing a character, and fit to a scene of 'getting ready for a date' etc. To do something like this we'd need to use stop animation, which is something I've had some experience in, which i can bring to the group, if we follow this.

Sia - Soon We'll Be Found

Another Sia video, in which she uses another art form that's mesmerising. The idea of shadows and hands can relate well to our developing idea of the string of fate, and the puppetier.
